Rising to the challenge

Good luck to the West University Little League Challenger Baseball players who will be participating in the upcoming Texas East State Little League All Star Tournament for special-needs players during the weekend of July 23-25 to play the game they’ve dreamed about. West University Little League and First Colony Little League Challenger Divisions have combined to field a team on behalf of District 16. Fourteen lucky players are traveling to Tyler, Texas for the tournament. They will be coached by Michael Miller and Scott Sattler. The Challenger team includes: Kenneth Adkins, Sean Barone, Hannah Bauch, Sofi Bauch, Natalie Gay, Blakeley Kress, Jim Li, Maggie Mae Merrill, L’Air du Robertson, EZ Roy, Devin Singley, Emily Stromatt, Heather Jo Thomas and Kamden Thompson.
