Newspring Center is celebrating a milestone as three colorful art pieces have taken flight in CityCentre, and Newspring’s Butterfly Festival has reached 80 percent of its fundraising goal. The butterfly pieces were purchased in support of RaiseUp Families, formerly Westside Homeless Partnership. Pictured is Susan Bolling, executive director of RaiseUp Families, with one of the butterflies. Forty student-designed works have now landed in locations around town. The Butterfly Festival showcases the talents of student artists, adds beauty to the community and boosts scholarship funds. See newspringcenter.org/butterfly-festival.
