John and Kelly Raley (pictured) enjoyed a day on the mountain in Park City, Utah, after a once-in-a-lifetime experience at the Sundance Film Festival. John, a practicing trial lawyer and mediator, has an on-screen role in Hit Man, a new movie produced and directed by Richard Linklater and starring Glen Powell. During a courtroom scene, John plays a lawyer who cross-examines a witness played by Powell. John and Kelly walked the carpet for press photos and sat with the film team during a discussion with Linklater and Powell that was moderated by the director of the Sundance Film Festival, Eugene Hernandez. The film is based on the 2001 Texas Monthly magazine article by Skip Hollandsworth about an undercover Houston police officer who posed as a hit man. Hit Man premiered at the Venice International Film Festival and is scheduled to be released by Netflix this summer.
